What a busy day. I decided to run two workshops on the same day but with small groups for the school holidays. It's a good idea doing it all in one day but not so good for the soles of the feet. I had two great groups of girls eager to put together their own little creations. 
The morning group did a great array of paintings simply using food colouring as their painting medium. I love the stuff. You really can't beat the colour you get. Their finished artwork featured everything from the car parked in the driveway through to a mermaid taking an alligator for a walk. I just love their imagination and where it takes them. To be able to preserve that in a frame is truly precious.
My wonderful second group who completed the funky flower bag workshop were obviously pleased with their efforts as you can tell by the looks on their faces. Not bad for two hours. And they navigated the sewing machine with ease...
