This term started with a wash of colour. I showed the group how they could paint at home even if they didn't have any paint.
With a couple of icecream containers and lids, some food colouring, water, paper and a brush if you have one, they can paint any time they like. We made borders using masking tape and watched our little patches of colour take shape. Luckily we had some beautiful winter sunshine to dry them off relatively quickly.
And lots of little coloured fingers went home...
