This term I'm running solo. Sandra has more than her fair share of things on her 'To Do' list and adding another couple of classes to that would require at least another 20 hours a week. As we all know, as much as we'd like the extra hours some weeks, would we really???
And so art classes are being run two days each week with a maximum number of 10. So far it's proving to be a good number. Lots of one on one and less room to run around. That was probably our only negative point from having our last classes in a big area.

We are working on a nine week term again and the kids will be focussing on painting their own canvas based loosely on the style of work by artist Penny Hudson. I can't wait to see how they turn out.

This week the two groups worked on scribble drawings using the shapes of hearts. The aim was to colour each space in the drawing without the colours 'bumping' into eachother. They then used this technique to create their own designs for Valentines Day cards.
